Privacy Policy
Dooty Calls respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information when you use dootycalls.com.au, request a quote or arrange a cleanup. Updated 5 October 2026.
Information we collect
The enquiry form collects your name, phone number, suburb, optional email address, number of dogs, cleanup frequency and deodoriser choice. When arranging a service, we may also receive your address, access instructions and service correspondence. Please do not send sensitive personal information through the quote form. Our website providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details and request logs to operate and secure the site.
How we use your information
We use enquiry details to calculate your quote, check service availability, contact you and arrange your cleanup. We use service details to deliver the agreed service and communicate about visits. Submitting the form requests a callback; it does not take payment or start a subscription. If you do not provide the required contact details, we cannot respond to an online enquiry.
Where information goes
Enquiries are delivered through Resend to our business email account, hosted through Google Workspace. The website uses Sites hosting and Cloudflare infrastructure. These providers process information needed to deliver their services. If you later arrange a payment through Stripe, Stripe handles your payment information under its own privacy policy; our quote form does not collect card details. Providers may process or store information outside Australia, including in the United States and other locations used by their infrastructure.
Website storage, analytics and Google reviews
The quote calculator uses session storage in your browser to remember your selected number of dogs, frequency and deodoriser choice during your visit. We record website interaction events such as starting a quote, submitting an enquiry and checking coverage. These events do not include the name, phone number, email or free-text suburb entered in the form. If Google Analytics is configured, it receives interaction and page-use information and may use cookies. Google advertising signals and ad personalisation are disabled in our configuration. You can control cookies and storage through your browser. We retrieve our public rating and review count from Google; visitors do not need to sign in to Google to see them. Links to Google and other external sites are governed by those sites’ privacy policies.
Storage and retention
Enquiry emails and service correspondence are held in the systems we use to run Dooty Calls. We retain information needed to respond to enquiries, manage services and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. Contact us if you would like us to review or delete information we hold; some records may need to be retained for legal or operational reasons. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Access, corrections and concerns
To request access to or correction of your information, ask about deletion, or raise a privacy concern, email contact@dootycalls.com.au or call 0485 082 222. Tell us enough to locate the relevant enquiry or record. We may need to verify your identity before releasing or changing personal information. We will review your concern and respond. If it remains unresolved, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au to ask about available complaint options.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our website or services change. The current version and update date will be published on this page.
